What We Do
We, at Beyond Boundaries (a division of Adventure Lifesigns), believe passionately in the benefits of outdoor education, as such we ensure that only the best expedition facilitators work for us. With a head office in rural Surrey, we lead the field in innovation and safety. Adventure Lifesigns were the first UK expedition company to introduce satellite tracking of teams in-country and to use remote medical back-up.
Anything can happen on expedition but what we do is make it safe and enjoyable! We work with prep schools throughout the UK, from Scotland to Surrey - and anywhere in between!
Adventure Lifesigns are founding members of the Expedition Providers Association, hold an ATOL licence, are Adventure Activities Licensing Service (AALA) registered and have been awarded an LOtC Quality Badge for overseas expeditions. At Beyond Boundaries, we are committed to providing an experience that combines adventure and education in a positive and supportive environment for our schools and students.
All our expeditions are led by experienced and qualified leaders who are passionate about introducing young people to the outdoor world and have full oversight of team health and safety. Expedition leaders must have minimum qualifications in order to lead our teams overseas.
Financial security
As a UK tour operator specialising in worldwide expeditions, all our flights and trips are financially guaranteed under a government-backed scheme.
Our customers' financial security is a high priority for us. We hold an ATOL licence for all of our expeditions meaning that every penny you spend with us is fully protected no matter how you pay (credit/debit card, cash, or cheque).
Following payment, you will be issued with an ATOL certificate and is proof that the trip is financially protected.
Insurance
A comprehensive insurance package is included for all UK-based team members.
Please note, all medical conditions are fully insured, provided you are not travelling against medical advice, to obtain medical treatment, or suffering from any conditions or symptoms that are awaiting investigation, treatment, referral, review, or results of any of the foregoing
Each participant must disclose their medical history during the application process and keep us updated during the build-up should any changes arise prior to departure.
